TECHNICAL DETAILS…

Both the Clarisonic and the Foreo Luna use Sonic pulsation to help cleanse your skin better then your hands will do.  You could be splurging on the priciest serums and face creams, but if you’re not cleaning your skin right, they won’t do you any good.  When you cleanse with a Clarisonic or Foreo, you’re removing all traces of makeup, sunscreen, dirt, and everything else that collects on your skin during the day.  Suitable for both women and men (yes, they can be used on facial hair removing buildup and debris and leaving a cleaner and softer beard).  They are both rechargeable devices that are waterproof even to be used under the shower.

the differences

The Foreo fully charged will last longer than the Clarisonic.  The design is sleek, easy to hold and feels less bulky than the Clarisonic.  The Foreo does not need replacement head as it is made of a hygienic non-porous silicone that resists bacteria building. As for the Clarisonic, they advise changing the brush head every 3 months.  An advantage being you can make the correct choice of brush head to match your skin type (sensitive/normal/mixed), the disadvantage obviously the extra cost.  Both models offer a different intensity of rotation.  The Foreo has two sides, one for cleaning, the other for improving premature aging skin and fine lines.

IN CONCLUSION

  • If you can, have both, they do not give the same results.  The Clarisonic for deep cleaning from city pollution, harsh weather and hormonal changes.  The Foreo for daily use.  Even if you have mixed combination skin, it should still be treated as sensitive.

  • Remember to remove makeup, especially with the Clarisonic that does a deep clean otherwise the makeup impurities will be absorbed.

  • Be gentle, no extra pressure needed, thats the job of the rotation and sonic  features.

  • After each use rinse your device and dry them up to avoid buildup, as for the Clarisonic remove the brush and rinse thoroughly iunside as well.

  • Pick the right cleanser.

  • Don’t over use it and  always listen to your skin.
